There are two specific types of villa accommodation in Mozambique. There is the self catering houses that sleep anywhere between 2 and 12 people. They are predominantly situated in Ponto do Oura, Xai Xai and Bilene. These are suitable for SELF DRIVES. Distances from Maputo will range between 3 – 5 hours drive approximately.Thecost of these houses will vary from R1,500 – R4,000 per night depending on size and time of year.
The second option is a fully catered or luxury villa which would come with a butler and/or chef. These more exclusive luxury villas can also sleep between 6 – 12 people. These villas are normally FLY-IN options and these range from R5,000 + per night.
